The Neo Classic NLC is a guitar based on the traditional LP style, but incorporates new elements to meet modern needs. While retaining the classic combination of a mahogany body, ebony fingerboard, laminated cell binding, and gloss black finish, the body has been given a chambered construction for lighter weight, matching the easy-to-handle playing style sought by modern players. As a top-of-the-line 200-grade model, it also boasts premium specifications, including Seymour Duncan pickups and a top-coat lacquer finish.
In addition to its excellent construction, this guitar utilizes technology cultivated over many years of experience, such as the fret edge treatment that supports smooth fingering. The neck grip has also been highly praised by many users, who say it is "neither too thick nor too thin, making it easy to hold." The pickups are a combination of Seymour Duncan '59 and JB, a golden combination that is perfect for this traditional model. The tone control has a push-pull switch, and by pulling up the pot, you can play only one side of the humbucker pickup, creating a crisp sound similar to that of a single pickup.
