A faithful reproduction of the MK2 used by Jimmy Page in the early days of ZEP.
Manlay Sound's Super Bender perfectly reproduces the best sound of the Tone Bender MK2.
The Super Bender is named after the Supa Fuzz and Sola Sound Tone Bender MK2 Professional (both of which have the same circuitry), which were popular in the late 1960s.
The Tone Bender MK2 is undoubtedly a classic fuzz pedal, famously used by Jimmy Page on the late Yardbirds and early Led Zeppelin albums.
Manlay Sound's Super Bender faithfully replicates the MK2 circuit, with three hand-selected germanium transistors carefully tested and assembled for optimal sound.
The internal trim pot allows you to adjust the bias from the rich, extended fuzz sound heard on Zeppelin's first album to the Yardbirds-style gated fuzz sound.
9V center positive. Can be used with batteries.
