Description
Description
*The product image is a sample. The shape may vary slightly depending on the production period. Thank you for your understanding.
Performance Guitar began development of this part in 1990, searching for the right material to create it, and discovered a material called Bell Metal. It's made from genuine church bells, refined using a proprietary manufacturing process. By incorporating a bell metal block into the base of the tremolo system, the sound is enhanced in definition, thickness, and extension! The overtones characteristic of Floyd Rose guitars are also reduced, resulting in a fatter tone.
This Big Block is famously used by Warren and the Zappa family, and it embodies the attention to detail that only Performance can provide, focusing on the very essence of the instrument: a truly professional sound in an authentic environment where top musicians gather.
*Please note: The manufacturer has limited installation to Floyd Rose Original models. Depending on the recess shape of the body, modifications may be required for installation. Due to our unique manufacturing process, there may be scratches or dirt on the parts when they arrive, but this does not affect their use.
■What is a Performance Guitar?
Japanese senior master builder, Mr. Sugai, crafts guitars with uncompromising craftsmanship, using high-quality wood cultivated in the fertile soil of California and incorporating the high craftsmanship inherent in the Japanese craftsmanship. The level of perfection has earned the highest praise from numerous world-famous players, including Warren DeMartini. Because each guitar is made one-off, the meticulous attention to detail in each instrument means that production numbers are extremely limited.
Bell Metal
A copper alloy containing 20-25% tin. Its name comes from the fact that it produces a good tone when cast into church bells.
