The Sterling by Music Man series is a high-cost performance series created to allow more players to experience the Music Man sound and feel.
The RAY24 is based on the original Stingray, featuring distinctive features from that era, such as a flat, contoured slab body and a 9V-powered, two-band active preamp. The narrow 38mm nut width provides a comfortable grip and smooth fingering. The carefully selected mahogany body is equipped with a custom-designed Music Man humbucking pickup and two-band active equalizer. It produces a distinctive, thick, and crisp bass tone. The rich, direct sound is reminiscent of the Stingray model! Whether you play with a pick, fingerpicking, or slapping, you can enjoy the crisp, dynamic bass.
