Excellent condition USED!
Hilton has brought back the legendary Kahler tremolo-equipped guitar.

Despite requests, Carl Thompson no longer accepts orders for this custom Kahler tremolo model, making it a elusive commodity. This custom model, crafted by former Carl Thompson craftsman Pete Hilton, is now back in excellent used condition!

This model features a luxurious solid flame maple body and a set neck with a 32-inch (medium) scale, the same as the Les CT. While its construction may be simple, a closer look at the beautiful flame maple one-piece neck and the lavish use of rare, high-quality snakewood for the fingerboard and other areas reveals that this is a very special guitar.

The pickup is an Armstrong humbucker, and the passive electronics configuration gives it power comparable to that of an active bass without compromising the inherent characteristics of the high-quality tonewood. This instrument also comes with an EMG pickup wrapped in a special wood cover provided by the previous owner, so you can have fun replacing it if you like.

The craftsmen have created pieces that exude the soft texture and warmth of the wood, creating a tasteful piece that can only be made by hand.They are not only collector's pieces, but also highly functional instruments that meet a high level of functionality as tools for artists to express their sounds, making them true musical instruments.

The instrument has been finished with an oil finish, which has led to a nice tanning over time, bringing depth to the tone of the originally light-colored maple. Aside from some signs of use on the fingerboard, there are no visible scratches and the instrument is in good condition.
Other than that, the neck condition, fret area, and truss rod are all in good condition and there are no particular issues at present.

This is a special watch that we would recommend to Thompson enthusiasts.
