Description

[Pre-price items]

Sadowsky's new standard series, MetroLine, is manufactured using Warwick's state-of-the-art facilities.

Roger Sadowsky's new goal was to further refine his already globally successful bass design through detailed refinements. With his self-developed active circuit, he has succeeded in elevating the J/J bass sound to a new level. The typical Sadowsky tone—clear, clear bass, a modern yet not overly aggressive midrange, and clear highs—all of these bass characteristics are faithfully preserved in the MetroLine series, manufactured exclusively in Germany. Extremely lightweight, these basses are perfect for bassists looking for a modern bass sound with easy handling for the stage.

Equipped with original parts such as hum-canceling JJ pickups, an active circuit with bypass, passive tone control, treble/bass EQ boost, ultra-lightweight tuners (tuners), and a bridge that produces excellent response, this guitar offers world-class quality in both sound and playability.

This vintage-style J/J model features an ash body and a veneer maple neck. Its wood construction provides a tight sound image, a wide range of tone with punchy bottom and crisp highs, and a pleasant percussive character, creating the "elegant sound" so characteristic of the brand. It also boasts the generous texture and rich, detailed resonance that's characteristic of overseas-made guitars. Another key feature is the adjustable nut, which allows you to adjust the nut height, providing the functionality you'd expect from a German-made guitar.

After garnering worldwide acclaim for its domestically produced models, the Metro line has now moved to a new stage with models made at the Warwick factory in Germany. While retaining most of the basic concepts and specifications, all models are lightweight, weighing less than 4kg, thanks to hand-selected wood that takes advantage of Warwick's vast wood stock and chambered bodies, a feature not available in Japanese-made models. Experience the new Sadowsky sound, which also incorporates the unique breath of overseas-made basses.
