Darkglass' classic Ultra series has evolved even further
Darkglass' classic Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 and Vintage Ultra V2 now come with an additional AUX input. While retaining the functionality of the existing V2, the addition of an AUX input makes these versatile tools perfect for everything from practice sessions to stage performances.
Darkglass Electronics is a Finnish effects pedal brand, handmade in the USA. Their products are popular with bassists like Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Nine Inch Nals/Beck) and Bryan Beller (Steve Vai), and recently at the recent NAMM show, they were chosen for the inboard preamp of Dingwall, a popular high-end bass guitar brand in our shop. It's no exaggeration to say they're a brand to watch.
In the past, bassists seeking a rich, tight, and articulate sound required a massive amp and cabinet. Discerning bassists often had to lug around their massive, heavy amps whenever they traveled. Now, from stunning clean tones to rich, saturated tones, you can create it all with a small, portable preamp. That's the Darkglass Electronics Vintage Ultra. A Tone Elixir that creates the tone bassists desire. A true panacea for players who love low end. It combines the functionality of the Darkglass Vintage Deluxe, which produces numerous historic bass tones, with the multi-functional b7k Ultra preamp, which creates more modern tones. This is the pinnacle of bass preamp pedals for players seeking a more classic bass tone.
- Equipped with two foot switches, the overdrive circuit can be turned on/off individually.
- Equipped with a 3-way toggle switch for both the low mid and high mid, allowing control of a total of 6 frequencies.
- Equipped with a master volume that controls the total volume.
- Balanced direct output includes digital cabinet emulation (can be turned on/off).
- 3.5mm headphone output (cabinet emulation always applied)
-You can select your preferred cabinet impulse response using Darkglass Suite (software for mac/PC).
