The JAPAN CUSTOM SNARE series now includes metal snares in steel and brass.

The JAPAN CUSTOMSNARE series, handmade in Osaka, now features new metal snares in steel and brass. The steel is a classic metal snare that complements a wide range of genres and playing styles. The brass offers a brilliant sound and rich mid-low range, finished in a luxurious black nickel finish. Every metal part has been carefully crafted with musicality in mind, from alloy composition to thickness. The snare wire (snare) is made of high-carbon material. Special heat treatment creates a strong yet flexible snare, fully utilizing the shell's material properties. The metal shell also features two beading (indentations) to maintain its center of gravity and reduce overtones for a tighter sound.


It features the distinctive sparkling sound of a brass body and a rich mid-low range. Its snare wire is made of 20% ultra-high carbon steel. This is a great choice for rock bands. Its sharp attack and clear, powerful sound make it the perfect snare for rock bands. It's available in three sizes: 14" x 5.5", 14" x 6.5", and 13" x 6.5".

Shell
Brass shells are made of a zinc alloy, which is easy to process and transmits vibrations well, making them a material that has long been used in brass instruments. They have a bright, vibrant overtone, a milder sound than steel, and a more pronounced sound. The shells are finished in a luxurious black nickel plate.

Snare wire: We use ultra-high carbon snare wire that has been specially heat-treated. It contains more carbon than regular high-carbon wire, making it stronger and resulting in a faster, sharper response.

Hoop
The JAPAN CUSTOM SNARE features SAKAE's familiar Righty Halo, with the hoop edge facing outward to bring out all the harmonic overtones possible.

●Die-cast lugs By using the appropriate material, the advantages of the shell are maximized.

●Strainer The extremely sensitive and accurate strainer allows the player to freely set the delicate tension they desire.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
