Description

[We have received a shipment of handmade cymbals by the late Roberto Spizzichino, a master cymbal craftsman.]

-Spizzichino Cymbal-
This is a handmade cymbal made by the late Roberto Spiccino, a master Italian cymbal craftsman renowned as one of the finest in the world.
Mr. Spiccino, who was also one of Italy's leading players, was fascinated by Turkish-made K Zildjian cymbals from the beginning and owned a number of Turkish K cymbals.
After the closure of the K Zildjian factory in Turkey, he began to teach himself how to make cymbals. He created a number of wonderful cymbals that thoroughly pursued the "old K" cymbal sound that he loved so much, and they are highly praised and loved around the world, especially by jazz drummers.

Judging from the weight, this appears to be a crash cymbal.
The well-balanced and supple crash sound is pleasant, ranging from rich low to mid ranges to brilliant high ranges, and the response to stick work is straightforward and agile.
At the same time, it has a refined sound that is not overly resonant, allowing it to express the player's expressions expressively, from delicate and calm legato to dynamic crashes.
The cup sound is crisp and can produce a satisfying accent, making it a cymbal that offers a wide range of expression, similar to a crash ride, and it produces a wonderful sound as both a main or second cymbal, especially in acoustic music such as jazz.
In addition, there are three rivet holes, so by attaching additional rivets, you can add a sizzle sound to the delicate overtones.
This is a very musical gem that is also easy to handle, so please enjoy it.
