Providence Z102 Livewizard (L/L 5.0m)

The Z102 model Livewizard from the Premium Link series breaks away from conventional concepts and is a cable developed based on the concept of being "ideal for live performances."
The conductor uses a unique core wire configuration, LWZ1 OFC, which is tin-plated.
In addition, the insulators use the special material NAP ELASTOMER, which has proven its worth in the S101 model.
Using these two materials and a tightly guarded structure with an ultra-dense braided shield, we have achieved low noise and a distinctive sound.
Needless to say, it is perfect for use in the studio, and is also a great match for tube amplifiers, delivering not only a clean sound with good definition and clarity, but also powerful distortion sounds in a more realistic and pleasant way.
This cable is especially effective when used in live performances, including halls filled with audiences.
The plugs used are all 24-karat gold-plated Providence NP-14G Long/Mid and NP-14GL Mid (91° L-type plugs), which best match the sound desired by the Z102 cable.

For the renewal, we re-examined the raw materials used and the manufacturing process, which can be described as a series of craftsmanship, and revised some of them.

The long plug cap is designed to make it easy to insert and remove, even with a Stratocaster's boat-shaped jack. The plug shaft is φ6.3mm, which fits perfectly into the inch-sized jacks used on most guitars. This makes it difficult to come loose, and also increases the number of contact points between the plug and jack, which has a positive effect on sound quality.

The mid-type plug cap is designed to easily connect to a guitar's side jack, amplifier, or effects pedal. The plug shaft is φ6.3mm, which fits perfectly into the inch-sized jacks used on most guitars. This has the advantage of making it less likely to come loose, and also provides more contact between the plug and jack, which has a positive effect on sound quality.
