Overview: The FTVS-510 caused a sensation upon its release. The answer to the question of how to transmit signals without degradation was pure silver. High-quality 5N pure silver is used as the center conductor, boasting a level of conductivity never before achieved with metals. Furthermore, the FTVS-510 underwent extensive testing, including insulation, EMI, and performance characteristics, and was created with the utmost care to utilize the rare metal of pure silver. The most distinctive feature of the DV-510F is the 5N pure silver used for the center conductor. Under strict production control, this high-quality silver wire undergoes continuous casting in a high-frequency electric furnace, 19 cold rolling processes, two annealing steps, diamond die drawing, and skin-pass processing, ensuring not only purity but also crystal structure. This process results in a conductor with aligned crystals and no stress distortion. The insulator is made of PFA, which has the lowest dielectric constant of any insulator. The filler layer is filled with foam PE, which reduces the dielectric constant and significantly improves the transmission characteristics of the FTVS-510. Furthermore, the shield boasts excellent shielding performance thanks to its three-layer hybrid shielding. It protects against wideband noise and also provides excellent shielding against faint spark noise.

The DV-510F was created with a theoretical and constructive approach. The impedance is set to 75 ohms, which means that it can fully demonstrate its performance not only in analog transmission but also in digital transmission. Of course, the terminal connectors are also characteristic of Oyaide. They are equipped with the FPS-9 Extreme F-type plug, which was specially designed for the DV-510F.

The FPS-9, like the FTVS-510, generously uses pure silver for the center contact. This center contact is also carefully machined one by one from a 4mm solid piece of pure silver using NC machining. Of course, that's not all the FPS-9's personality is unique. The insulator uses PFA to reduce the dielectric constant, and the lock nut, ring, and other components are lavishly rhodium-plated. The shiny pearl-white outer shell is also carefully machined one by one from solid brass using NC machining, ensuring unparalleled noise performance.

With the spread of terrestrial digital broadcasting, video quality has improved dramatically. However, is that enough to satisfy high-end users? The DV-510F is a unique antenna cable. The central conductor is made of 5N (99.9995%) pure silver, which has the highest conductivity of any metal. The production process is uncompromising, with continuous casting in a high-frequency electric furnace, 19 cold rolling processes, two annealing processes, drawing using a diamond die, and skin-pass processing. This results in a high-quality silver wire with not only high purity silver but also no gaps in the grain boundaries.

When a signal flows through a semiconductor layer cable, weak vibrations occur, and these vibrations cause corona discharge in statically charged materials. Therefore, by providing a semiconductor layer around the outer periphery of the insulating layer, static electricity is released without affecting the conductor.

The insulator is made of PFA, which has the lowest dielectric constant of all insulating materials. Furthermore, a composite structure with FPE (foamed polyethylene) is used for the purpose of vibration diffusion. This ensures not only excellent electrical properties but also vibration prevention.

- Exterior The exterior is made of a simple reinforced fiber sleeve, without any coloring of the material, and has been treated with an anti-static coating to prevent static electricity from building up due to friction, etc.

- Two-layer shielding: Copper tape and tin-plated copper braid are combined to provide protection against low-frequency noise, but the "FTVS-510" is further strengthened against high-frequency noise by using silver-plated copper braid (95%) with high frequency characteristics.

Connectors with pure silver center pins. Oyaide Electric considers the terminal plug to be a component of the cable. It goes without saying that the conductivity of the cable must be increased, but the conductivity of the plug contacts must also be increased. By adopting pure silver contact connectors (SLSC/SLSB), we have achieved flawless pure silver transmission.

・Uses SS-47 Solder for Audio Applications. For wiring, Oyaide Electric's original SS-47 solder for audio applications is used. Standard solders typically use tin with a purity of around 99.9% (3N) due to cost considerations. SS-47 further enhances purity, eliminating impurities to the utmost extent, resulting in a high-purity tin of over 99.993% (4N). Silver and copper are also blended to improve conductivity and prevent solder erosion. While standard alloy solders typically contain 3-3.5% silver, SS-47 generously uses a whopping 4.7%. Furthermore, 1.7% copper, the metal with the second highest conductivity after silver, is blended. This blending ratio dramatically improves conductivity, successfully achieving a eutectic point of 217°C.

Of course, these blending ratios were not determined solely on the basis of numerical data and workability. We believe that sound quality should be given top priority when labeling a solder as audio solder. SS-47 was created through countless listening tests of prototype models with various blending ratios.
