BJ Commissioned Work "Butterfly Junction" (Suzuki Hidefumi) [Full Score]
Hidefumi Suzuki has written a new piece for Band Journal. It is a seven-minute opera drama based on Madama Butterfly, a work by Puccini whose death will be 100 years old in 2024, and whose premiere marks 120 years since its premiere. The piece can also be performed by a small band. The sheet music for the parts is included in the February issue. Please give it a try!
