Black Smoker, a brand that is highly trusted by professional musicians and continues to grow in popularity among bassists, has released the aged "Trad Master" series!
"BLACK SMOKER" is a handmade brand from BLACK CLOUD, a workshop in Nagano Prefecture, a mecca for musical instrument manufacturing where many brands are located. This brand has already gained popularity among many professional musicians for its sophisticated and high-quality sound, playability, and looks. It's a notable brand created by three people: CEO Kuroiwa, who has been involved in the design and manufacturing of numerous manufacturers and models, young builder Yanagisawa, who collaborates with him, and builder Itasaka, who has worked for a long-established Japanese brand.
This instrument combines an ash body with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mint pickguard, resulting in a sound that is an exquisite match of the crisp bass and clear treble of the ash body and the sticky thickness of the rosewood fingerboard.
Thanks to the exquisite construction and setup, this passive guitar produces a rich low-B and a powerful resonance from the neck and body.
Another attractive feature is the aged finish, which includes fine weather checking and minor fading of parts, giving it a realistic look as if it has actually aged over time.
