Description
Description
Emperor 5 with a set neck and back eye top!
This exquisite Emperor set-neck model features an ash body top made of buckeye burl, one of Fodera's most popular exotic woods, and an ebony fingerboard with gorgeous abalone block inlays.
The ash body/ebony fingerboard design provides a good balance of punchy bass and solid midrange, while the aero pickup provides crisp, lively highs. By boosting the EQ, you can also enjoy a compressed slap sound.
Although it is a 34-inch scale instrument that allows for smooth switching from a 4-string, the Fodera's unique natural tension, with a stable low B sound without any unnecessary fluctuations, allowing for clear pitch all the way to the lowest notes, and its musical tone that stimulates the artist's imagination, has captivated many top-class bass players who are considered to be among the world's best in both performance technique and sense of expression.
The full appeal of the company's instruments is expressed in the wonderful performances that have been recorded to date, and no explanation is necessary when listening to these recordings.
The excellent, flowing body design provides a natural, effortless feel, and the 34-inch scale, which has become the standard in recent years, provides excellent playability. Compared to the slightly stronger sound of 35-inch scales, the bass sound does not stand out too much even when mixed into an ensemble, and when used in the right position, this excellent bass sound can even improve the quality of the music itself.
The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a small 2mm dent near the control panel on the top of the body, a few small scratches on the back of the body, and two small dents the size of rice grains on the back of the headstock. The pickup cover and fingerboard show only light signs of use, and the guitar is in excellent condition. The string height cannot be set to a super low action, but it's not difficult to play, and the truss rod, frets, and electrical system are all in excellent condition.
This is a great opportunity to get your hands on Fodera, which continues to reign as the top high-end bass guitar!
Don't miss it!
