We have a beautiful used 4001S64C in stock, which is a reproduction of the 4001 owned by Paul McCartney as closely as possible!
This guitar, manufactured in 2002, is a reproduction of Paul McCartney's beloved 1964 4001. After the Beatles broke up and during his time with Wings, the horn section of the body was shaved down, the rear horseshoe pickup was replaced with a high-gain pickup, the mounting ring was replaced with a square one, and the zero fret was added, marking a long and cherished history as Paul's beloved instrument.
The sound is so unique that it can be recognized as "the Rickenbacker sound" at first listen. While there are many basses on the market, with a thick, robust, booming bass and a taut, moderately edgy high note, the Rickenbacker sound has a unique presence that only a Rickenbacker can produce, making it an essential item for recreating Paul's "that sound."
There is some slight dullness and dents on the parts, and the back of the neck and the contours have a glossy appearance, but there are no large, noticeable scratches and the guitar is in relatively good condition.
The nut groove has been machined from the original string width and is set up for 45-105 strings.
There is ample room in the truss rod, the neck is in good condition, and there are about 70-80% of the frets remaining, so you can use it for a long time.
