■Small condenser modeling microphone

The Edge Note is the perfect microphone for recording a wide variety of instruments. With its extremely high SPL and features like a pad and high-pass filter, it's ideal for instrumentalists, sound engineers, and studio owners looking for a flexible, high-quality, and affordable recording tool. The Edge Note is a next-generation modeling microphone with impressive recording capabilities, allowing you to get creative with the sounds of over 10 classic microphone models.

●High sound pressure level tolerance (SPL) allows you to record loud sounds such as drums, guitars, and brass instruments.
●The -10db and -20db PAD attenuator functions prevent distortion and clipping even with loud sound sources.
●Microphone modeling technology reproduces the sound of classic microphone models natively in your DAW, or in real time with Synergy Core processing inside Antelope interfaces.
Optimized for use with Antelope Audio's discrete preamps. Also compatible with third-party audio interfaces.

■Transparent recording
The Edge Note's flat frequency response provides a very clean sound, easily capturing the fine details of acoustic guitars and ethereal cellos.

When using microphone emulation, it captures audio in the most neutral way possible without dramatically boosting the frequency range, resulting in a sound that is as close as possible to the original microphone being emulated.

Captures even the loudest sounds. With an incredible SPL of 146dB before attenuation, the Edge Note is ideal for recording loud sources. It can capture drums and intense trumpet solos without clipping. For particularly demanding situations, you can attenuate by -10dB or -20dB using the pad. Additionally, a high-pass filter makes it easy to correct for low frequencies and proximity effect.

■ Innovation brought by classics
Edge Note inherits the characteristics of the finest small diaphragm microphones available today, delivering incredible detail and realism.
A total of 13 microphone emulations recreate the legendary microphone sounds used on some of the most iconic recordings in music history. These emulations are available as real-time effects within Antelope Audio interfaces (via Synergy Core) and as native plug-in emulations in any DAW, allowing you to apply the mic emulations to pre-recorded dry audio sources afterward.
*Requires iLok 2 or 3 when used as a native plug-in.
