Description

★The ultimate microphone preamp design

The m801mk2 is the culmination of GRACE design's 25+ years of experience in developing a microphone preamp that captures every aspect of your performance.

While inheriting all of the highly acclaimed design features, such as the beautiful, fully independent PCB design for each of the eight channels, the precision metal film resistors, gold contacts, and the elimination of electrolytic capacitors, the circuit design has been refined to pursue even greater heights. Numerous advancements have been made, including improved noise performance at low gain, improved low-frequency phase response, comprehensive countermeasures against RFI/EMI, Wi-Fi, and other electromagnetic noise, and a cleaner DC power supply.

The result is an extremely flat and wide frequency response of 3.2Hz-530kHz (±3dB)*, capturing every ounce of your performance and recording a sound with breathtaking depth and power.

GRACE design's first 8-channel microphone preamp, the MODEL801, was released in 1994. The MODEL801, which prioritized musical sound with its thorough, uncompromising design philosophy, featured independent circuit boards for each channel, precision metal film resistors and gold contacts, and the elimination of electrolytic capacitors. Even now, more than 25 years later, it remains in active use in studios around the world as the most expressive microphone preamp.

Twelve years later, the m801 was released, featuring an expanded frequency response, superior signal path, ribbon microphone mode, and more, to keep up with the ever-evolving improvements in digital sound quality.

And now, the ultimate microphone preamplifier, the M801 MK2, has arrived, with an eye toward the next generation.
