In November 2025, when Hartman Guitars' chief engineer, Akita, visited Eastman Guitars, he had a fateful encounter with the incredibly beautiful "Master Grade Quilted Sapele" that was ultimately chosen for this guitar.
After personally inspecting each and every piece on-site, and driven by the desire to create the ultimate guitar that makes the most of this exceptional material, we held numerous discussions with Eastman, resulting in the creation of the "CTM ML-OMC," a special custom model of Eastman's top-of-the-line "Master Luthier Series (ML)"!

■ The "ML" inscribed in the name of the ultimate handcrafted model, a pride of the top-of-the-line "Master Luthier Series," is proof that it was made in the "Master Luthier Series," the highest-level section within Eastman where the most skilled craftsmen are gathered.
This instrument was crafted by the same top team that produces the "Touchstone" and "Down East" series for the high-end boutique brand "Bourgeois." The craftsmen's advanced woodworking skills and unwavering dedication to tone are poured into each guitar, from carefully assessing the density and elasticity of the wood to hand-carving the bracing.

■ The breathtaking sound produced by carefully selected materials and hand-carved bracing The body sides and back are made of "Master Grade Quilted Sapele" carefully selected by Akita on-site. The three-dimensional effect and deep, captivating grain, reminiscent of rippling water, is so beautiful that it's sure to capture your heart at first sight.
The top wood is luxuriously crafted from "Solid Thermo-Cure Adirondack Spruce," which has undergone heat treatment using patented technology. The powerful and resonant sound pressure characteristic of the finest Adirondack spruce is combined with the mature response of a vintage guitar thanks to the thermo-cure process.
The clear, articulate tone characteristic of quilted sapele, combined with the rich body resonance born from the hand-bracing by skilled craftsmen, results in a sound of exceptional quality. This is a superb sound that we recommend not only to wood grain enthusiasts, but also to players who refuse to compromise on sound attack and expressiveness.

■ Refined details and high playability from a player's perspective. The wood binding, which further enhances the sense of luxury, is made of flame maple, and there is absolutely no compromise on the beauty and texture of the appearance.
The body shape features the Orchestra Cutaway (OMC), which is easy to hold and offers excellent response. The approximately 645mm scale length provides a vibrant tone and rich sustain, and the slim neck grip with a nut width of approximately 43mm allows for smooth handling of complex chord work, delicate fingerstyle playing, and lead playing on the higher frets.
