Among the many Martin models, the 000-28EC is one of the top three most popular, boasting a high level of perfection with well-balanced sound output, an old-fashioned look, and an easy-to-handle auditorium body size.This ``000-EC 30th Anniversary'' is a special model based on the 000-28, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the collaboration with Eric Clapton.

The body features a spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, featuring scalloped X-bracing—a classic Martin combination that delivers a rich, resonant tone. The neck is crafted from genuine mahogany with an ebony fingerboard featuring Golden Era 42-style snowflake inlays, combining classic aesthetics with playability. The guitar features an authentic 1939-style shape, inspired by the guitar played in Eric Clapton's legendary MTV Unplugged performance, for a vintage look. The slightly narrower 42.9mm nut width, combined with the distinctive V-shaped grip, ensures excellent playability.

The guitar comes with a printed certificate of authenticity and a label inside the body bearing Eric Clapton's signature. It is strung with Martin Clapton signature strings, Clapton's Choice 92/8 Phosphor Bronze (MEC-12), and a spare set of matching strings is included in the case.
