Description

Thanks to your patronage, we have been able to celebrate our 50th anniversary this year.
To commemorate our 50th anniversary, we have commissioned a special model to mark our half-century history and to express our gratitude to everyone.

Headway produces a wide range of guitars, from traditional to exotic and modern, and is known for its high level of craftsmanship. At Headway, there's the Aska Team Build, a small but highly skilled team of several members who have built a 10-year career under master builder Momose. Aska Team Build incorporates rare woods not typically used in regular models, as well as processing and design techniques that require advanced skills, resulting in guitars crafted with meticulous attention to detail, not only in sound but also in appearance.

This model is a special edition made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company's founding. Headway produces models using cherry wood and other motifs, but this particular order was made with a rose motif. The meaning of roses is "love" and "passion," and the design motif was chosen to reflect the love that has been shown by our customers for the past 50 years, and our desire to continue to treat both our instruments and our customers with the same passion.

The body is crafted from Selected Sitka Spruce for the top, select Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, and a maple centerpiece for the back. The finest materials, densely grained and characteristic of this special commemorative model, are chosen to deliver the rich overtones of rosewood and the pure resonance of maple. Combined with the dreadnought body shape, this guitar produces a rich, powerful tone, with the firm low end characteristic of a three-piece guitar providing a pleasant tone.

The neck is made of African mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, and the thin neck grip provides excellent playability. It also incorporates two carbon support bars for added rigidity. This not only maintains the neck's rigidity, but also contributes to the quick response that transmits vibrations the instant you play.

The decoration features rose inlays on the headstock, fingerboard, and pickguard, and rose ghost paint on the back and top of the body. These designs were specially designed for this model and, of course, have never been seen on any other Headway model before. The body color is specified as a rose red gradient. This color is also a special color that has not been used on any other Headway model before.

This special commemorative model is inspired by the love and passion that Ikebe Musical Instruments has received from its customers over the past 50 years.
This special model was created using Headway's technology and know-how, and in partnership with Ikebe Musical Instruments.
