Description

American Traditional Sound (F-Style)
If you have the best crunch, you don't need anything else!

Roughly speaking, guitar sounds can be divided into two major trends: "British" and "American." The former is, for example, Eric Clapton's sound during his Cream days, while the latter is the sound of Clapton from Derek and the Dominos onward. Roughly speaking, the difference is like whether it's "hard rock," with its thunderous, distorted sound, or "swamp rock," with its nuanced, mature phrasing. Essentially, they have different specialties. This feature delves deeper into the "American" style. While "British" has a clear, rock-like distortion, "American" excels in its moody tone, colored by ambiguous distortion. While this has long been considered difficult to achieve with effects pedal circuits, recent advances in research have led to an increase in excellent products. Considering the current trends in music, rather than overpowering listeners with macho distortion, the mainstream has shifted to gentle tones that captivate with playing nuance, so perhaps "American" pedals are the pedals that best suit the current era. This time, we'll be featuring pedals that have that old yet new sound.
