Description

The ultimate handmade bass that reigns supreme at the pinnacle of high-end basses
Alembic's top-of-the-line model, the "Series II," is now available in excellent used condition!

This is a superb guitar, featuring a Rogue-shaped body made of ebony top, mahogany core, and walnut back, an ebony laminate in the center of the neck, and the ultimate Series II circuit.
(The spec sheet says "Series I," but this is not a mistake; it was upgraded to "Series II" during production. It was already Series II when completed.)

The combination of the mahogany hollow body and sturdy 7-piece neck provides the neck-through feel, rich sustain, and unique airiness that gives the instrument a rich, musical tone. The core electronics are the company's top-of-the-line Series II, producing the powerful sound heard in the playing of players like Jimmy Johnson. Furthermore, the longhorn design provides excellent balance when held, and despite the 35 scale, which contributes to a clear, beautiful low B tone, the instrument is designed to minimize stress when playing.

Although it is possible to output directly from the instrument's phone jack (mono), outputting via a dedicated 5-pin power supply delivers a full-spec sound with increased sound pressure and headroom, making it unique to Alembic and no longer confined to the category of a simple active bass. The one-of-a-kind sound perfected by this electronics alchemist in the early 1970s has not faded in the slightest even today.

As for the condition, there are a few small dents on the top of the headstock, the back of the neck near the 5th fret, the side of the fingerboard on the 1st string side near the 3rd fret, and on the side of the body, but all of them are so light that they are not particularly noticeable in terms of appearance or playability.Other than that, the originally satin-finished neck has a slight shine, there are slap marks on the rod cover on the top of the body and the surrounding area, and light scratches on the pickup, but it is in fairly good condition considering it was made in 2014.

After arriving at our store, it was cleaned and re-set up, and the frets, fingerboard, top/back of the body, and hardware are all in excellent condition.
In addition, since the dedicated power supply and dedicated cable were out of stock, we have prepared new ones and will include them.

It has been a top brand since its introduction, but now it has become the top brand in terms of price, so it will be even more difficult to come across this model in the future.

This is your chance to get your hands on a one-of-a-kind, top-of-the-line guitar with both unique looks and sound.

Don't miss it!!
