Genuine Analog Console Mic Preamps: This unit uses the same fully analog, discrete mic preamp circuitry found in the company's famous ASP8024-HE recording console. No emulations or copies, just a genuine analog console mic preamp on your desktop.

Switchable routing for the first time! The iD48's switchable insert routing lets you choose which source is sent to the ADC path. Choose between sending an Audient mic preamp or DAW output to your outboard gear on a per-channel basis, without having to plug or unplug cables.

★Tracking with External Preamps Additionally, for users who want to record with external analogue mic preamps, the iD48's Returns allow you to bypass the Audient mic preamps, providing an extremely clean and direct AD conversion path for recording.

Leverage the iD48's optical input and output connections to make short work of even the most demanding sessions and prove the reliability of your studio. Supporting both ADAT and SPDIF, the iD48 lets you add up to 16 channels of external mic preamps to enhance your I/O.


◆Headphone output
Mix confidently on headphones with the iD48's two engineer-grade independent stereo headphone amplifiers, which also provide a high dynamic range of 124dB and enough power to drive headphones up to 600Ω.

◆Speaker Outputs You can listen to your mix through the main and alternate speaker outputs. You can also send the audio signal from the extra line output to an external headphone amplifier for use as a monitor source for the artist.

◆Talkback
The iD48's innovative talkback technology allows you to use a USB microphone or your computer's built-in microphone as a dedicated talkback microphone, freeing up valuable microphone preamp channels for recording.

◆User-configurable monitor control Powerful monitoring functions such as speaker selection, dim, and mono sum can be assigned to two dedicated hardware function buttons.
