Enjoy playing like an electric guitar with Ibanez's nylon-string electric guitar!

The FRH10N is an electric-acoustic guitar with nylon strings, featuring Ibanez's unique "FRH" shape.

This guitar features a hollow body construction with fan bracing, a technique used in classical guitars, combined with a solid Sitka spruce top and sapele sides and back. The bright, clear sound characteristic of spruce is complemented by the warm mid-low frequencies of the sapele, resulting in a soft, resonant tone typical of nylon strings.

Its most distinctive feature is its modern playability, which sets it apart from typical classical guitars. The thin body, approximately 50mm thick, features a single cutaway, allowing for smooth access to the higher positions. Furthermore, the 46mm nut width and 400mm radius rounded fingerboard give it a feel closer to an electric guitar than a classical guitar, making it easier to finger.

Furthermore, instead of a typical soundhole on the top surface, a side sound port is placed on the side of the body facing the player. This allows the performer to feel the acoustic sound more directly, and the absence of a soundhole also helps to prevent feedback when using an amplifier.

It features Ibanez Undersaddle pickups and an AEQ210T preamp. In addition to volume, bass, and treble controls, it also has an onboard tuner, making it easy to use for live performances and jam sessions.

The FRH10N offers the enjoyment of a nylon-string sound similar to a classical guitar, while achieving a playing feel and high playability close to that of an electric guitar.
This guitar is recommended not only for electric guitarists unfamiliar with classical guitars, but also for anyone looking for a nylon-string guitar that's easy to handle in live performances.
