Epiphone has collaborated with the Gibson Custom Shop to release the 1957 SJ-200, a reproduction of the 1957 King of the Flat-Tops.
It features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing, an all-solid wood body with beautifully grained figured maple back and sides, and a C-profile flame maple neck.
The headstock features Gibson's original openbook headstock shape, with a mother-of-pearl crown inlay on the front and the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo engraved on the back.
The mustache bridge and the flower-designed engraved pickguard are iconic design features of the SJ-200.
Equipped with an LRBaggs VTC preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup system, it excels in a variety of situations, from live performances to studio recordings.
A hardshell case featuring the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo is included.
