1963 Dove Reissue

Released in 1962 as Gibson's second square-shouldered acoustic model, the Gibson Dove™ is widely known for its distinctive design.
It has been used by many famous players, including Elvis Presley, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Alex Lifeson, and Frank Hannon.
Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom, will release the 1963 Dove Reissue, a faithful reproduction of the early Dove model from around 1963.

This model features a thermally aged solid spruce top, combined with scalloped X-bracing made from quarter-sawn solid spruce.
The sides and back are made of solid figured maple, resulting in a bright and clear tone.
With a slightly richer bass range than the Hummingbird, its well-balanced sound is suitable for a wide range of musical genres.

The neck is made of thermally aged, one-piece mahogany, and features a 25.5-inch scale and a round profile.
The rosewood fingerboard, wrapped in binding, features mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays and has 20 standard frets.

The Dove is a popular model known for its unique decorative design.
The body features multi-layer binding on the top and back, and the rosewood bridge base is adorned with an iconic inlay of two doves made of mother-of-pearl.
The compensated saddle, nut, and bridge pins are all made of bone. The iconic Dove pickguard is adorned with a mother-of-pearl dove inlay.

The headstock is equipped with Kluson(R) waffle-back tuners (with metal keystone buttons) for stable tuning.
The headstock features a two-layer truss rod cover and is engraved with the word "DOVE".
The Epiphone logo and Gibson crown inlay are crafted from aged mother-of-pearl.
The headstock shape is the same open-book style as Gibson guitars, and the back is engraved with the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" double-diamond logo.

It features an LR Baggs™ Element Bronze VTC preamp and an under-saddle piezo pickup for immediate use in live performances and recordings.

It comes with a hardshell case inspired by the Red Line and featuring the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo.

We use DHL Express for shipping.
