Acoustic and Electric Tones In One

The SE Hollowbody II Piezo is a model that fuses the warm, airy tone unique to hollow-body guitars with the power of solid-body electric guitars. Its construction, combining a maple top and back with mahogany sides, not only boasts an attractive look but also delivers a dynamic sound with rich harmonics. The installed 58/15 LT S pickups, when combined with the hollow body, produce a clear, balanced, and three-dimensional sound.

This model features the LRBaggs/PRS Piezo system, allowing you to freely switch between electric and acoustic sounds with a single guitar. It has two independent volume knobs for the magnetic and piezo pickups, enabling two separate outputs (Mix/Piezo and Magnetic).

By connecting to the "Mix/Piezo" jack and adjusting the two volume controls, you can blend the piezo acoustic sound with the sound of the 58/15 LT S pickup. You can also use both output jacks simultaneously to send the magnetic pickup to a guitar amplifier and the piezo sound to an acoustic amplifier or PA system via a DI box.
Note that if only the output jack for the magnetic pickup is used, the battery for the piezo system is completely bypassed, so the magnetic pickup can be used as usual even if the battery runs out.
