A great-sounding, used 2016 Gibson LG series small-body acoustic guitar!

The LG-2 was introduced in 1942 as a model that followed in the footsteps of the L series that was being sold at the time.
Despite its smaller size compared to earlier models, its melodic sound has made it popular among blues musicians, and it continues to enjoy strong support from singer-songwriters today.

Regarding the condition of this unit, there are generally few dents or scratches, and there is no external damage that could cause malfunction or scratches that significantly detract from its appearance.
Currently, there are no buzzing or other issues observed during playability, and the frets have plenty of life left. The top is also in excellent condition! Combined with the shorter 628mm Gibson scale length, the strings are easy to press down, resulting in high playability.

In terms of sound, it delivers a truly authentic Gibson sound that you wouldn't expect from a body of this size!
A warm midrange is delivered, followed by crisp, juicy highs, all balanced across the strings.
The sound quality is also excellent. This particular instrument has a strong sense of harmonics, and when played, it produces an open and bright sound with a sparkling chord feel. The pleasant, natural reverb that spreads out softly is also something that can be enjoyed thanks to the rich harmonics.
Even when playing single notes, it gives the impression of having the necessary sustained midrange for lead playing, and the picking bite and drive feel are qualities that can only be obtained with this particular instrument.
The top bracing is scalloped to reduce mass, which is a welcome feature as it allows for ample volume even when fingerpicking. The excellent resonance makes you want to strum the strings right away.
Due to its short scale, it produces a crisp sound with excellent overtones, which explains why it has been a beloved instrument for accompanying vocals for centuries. It's perfectly suited for both fast-paced songs and ballads where you want each note to be heard melodiously.
This guitar features an all-solid wood construction and is still relatively new, so it's sure to evolve into the ideal tone the player envisions the more you play it.

The guitar is equipped with the original 'LRBaggs Element VTC' pickup.
The powerful, crisp tone characteristic of Gibson guitars, with its thick core and excellent clarity, will fit seamlessly into any setting, configuration, or playing style.
Depending on how you adjust the Tone knob, you can create a punchy, punchy sound or adjust it to a mellow tone that suits fingerstyle playing.
There is no crackling or anything like that with the knob, and it is in a condition where you can use it roughly.

Due to the discontinuation of the G series, which was a more affordable line, and the price revision in November 2024, it has become extremely rare to find a Gibson guitar that can be purchased for around 100,000 yen.
