Electric Town Exit Parfum de Rose [HIZAKI SIGNATURE MODEL]

Based on the long-standing relationship between ESP and Mr. HIZAKI, this is Electric Town Exit's first signature model, created with the cooperation of ESP.

"Parfum de Rose," which means "rose fragrance" in French, is the signature overdrive pedal of guitarist HIZAKI, known for his brilliant and delicate playing style.
It can handle a wide range of sounds, from booster-like tones with reduced gain to soaring, singing lead tones.
Without compromising picking nuances, it adds a natural sense of compression and rich harmonics, bringing out the player's expressiveness more vividly.
Its rich yet robust sound is perfect not only for melodic lead playing but also for adding presence to backing tracks.

I am pleased to announce the release of my HIZAKI signature overdrive pedal, "Parfum de Rose." I have always dreamed of creating my own signature pedal, so I am truly overwhelmed with emotion.

When I first tried an Electric Town Exit pedal, I was blown away by its high quality. Its sound was on par with high-end vintage pedals, yet it blended seamlessly into modern equipment and the music scene. Drawn in by its potential, I went through countless trials and errors in pursuit of "my ideal overdrive," and this pedal was finally completed.

The thickness around 500Hz gives the sound a definite presence, and the push around 1000Hz, which is essential to the HIZAKI sound, creates guitar solos that sound almost like singing. And around 3000Hz, sparkling harmonics and a sharp bite are added. I was able to refine it to the ideal sound I had envisioned by paying attention to every detail.

It provides solid support for both singing lead playing and backing, ensuring a strong core and stability to the sound. I also use it myself in live performances, and it works exceptionally well when connected before digital equipment such as digital amplifiers and modelers, allowing it to fully showcase its capabilities.

"Parfum de Rose"—as the name suggests, it's a sound that combines the sensual and beautiful resonance of a rose with the sharp, biting attack of a rose's thorns. We hope you'll experience it for yourself.
