We've received a rare NG model featuring the now-legendary Swirl paint job, a design produced for only a very short period! And it's even a 4-string version!

Manufactured in Saskatoon, Canada, Dingwall instruments focus on the ideal scale length for each string, employing the groundbreaking Novax Fanned-fret System, which is particularly ideal for multi-string basses that utilize a low B string. Through the unique ideas, superb design, and superior craftsmanship of its founder, Sheldon Dingwall, Dingwall has evolved these instruments into some of the world's finest handmade basses, gaining a very high reputation in Japan in recent years.

This instrument is a signature model of Adam Nolly Getgood, who was the bassist for Periphery, a popular band representing the djent style, and has continued to be active in a wide range of music scenes since leaving the band.

This model, featuring a fanned fret system ranging from 36.25 inches (E) to 34 inches (G), is surprisingly easy to play even without looking at the fretboard. Playing this instrument will make you realize that a natural-sounding low B is actually necessary at a distance of around 37 inches, and you'll surely be surprised by the clear pitch of the low B sound, even in half-step or whole-step down tunings.
Furthermore, by using the Darkglass EQ and letting it growl, you can enjoy a powerful and dynamic active sound. There are some dents on the headstock and some wear on the neck from use, but overall it is in good condition, and the neck and truss rod move without any problems.
This NG model is already rare enough as a 4-string version, but it also comes in a rare color that is no longer in production, so if you're interested, act fast!
