★A very rare and beautiful used French-style button accordion from the French company "Maugein" has arrived!

Maugein, a French accordion manufacturer, is a long-established brand famous for its French-style accordions.
This model features handmade reeds nailed into a cork-type reed box, resulting in a sharp attack and a vivid response even to fast passages.
The elegant sound, characteristic of French-style instruments, is perfectly suited to, or even specializes in, glamorous music such as chansons and Parisian musettes, showcasing a distinctive character that truly shines.
The lead type comes in two sets, allowing switching between M and MM, and, as is typical for French type tubes, it has a register switch on the back.
The left-hand bass strings consist of three sets, meaning they cannot produce the lowest bass notes compared to the four sets commonly found on typical global-type accordions. The right-hand strings have a brighter tone, and the balance is such that the bass strings are designed to complement and highlight the right-hand part, which is another characteristic of the instrument's sound.
The right hand has a distinctive range of 49 notes (EE).
Because it is made with nails, the reed plate is more susceptible to the pressure of the air blown into it than wax, and when playing with high pressure in the high register, the vibration of the plate may be reflected in the sound.

The exterior features a vibrant blue body, and the inside of the bellows is lined with a floral pattern—a testament to the attention to detail.
The buttons are made of mirror-finish silver, which, along with the chrome grille, reflect the stage lights with a brilliant sparkle.
This is a masterpiece overflowing with love for the accordion, delighting both the performer and the audience with its sound and appearance.

As this is a used item, there are some minor scratches and signs of use, as well as a small scuff mark on the back, but overall it shows little signs of use and is in very good condition.

It comes with the original Maugein hard case and the original white strap.
