A used 2021 Gibson Custom Shop flagship model, the "1959" Les Paul, has arrived!

The 1959 Les Paul Standard Model shines brightly in the history of electric guitars. Its overwhelming sound, which has captivated countless musicians, and its beautiful body lines that alluringly charm the player, make it an icon that every rock guitarist aspires to own, even today.
The Les Paul Standard, which was produced in a sunburst finish for a short period from its initial release in 1951 through the goldtop era until 1958, is a truly iconic model. Among them, the 1959 model, in particular, enjoys exceptional popularity and continues to reign as a highly coveted and desirable instrument.

This guitar employs E-bucker pickups with slightly reduced output, resulting in a smooth, resonant sound with a hint of agedness and rich harmonics. Not only does it deliver a tight, clean sound, but you can also fully appreciate the nuances and bite of your picking when you crank it up.
Not only does it offer excellent clarity when the tone is rolled off, but its controllable assembly, which maintains a good level of brightness even when the volume is turned down, is also a great match for modern usage methods.

Weighing approximately 4.08 kg, it has the balanced characteristics typical of a Les Paul model, and this has a solid, punchy sound that clearly influences the tone.
This woody, sensual tone, with its strong sense of plucked mahogany wood, is something you should definitely experience firsthand.

*Regarding the condition, there are no noticeable dents or damage to the frets, and approximately 70% of the frets remain. The truss rod also has plenty of adjustment range.
The electrical system is in good working order, and there is no major damage to the top of the body. However, there is paint damage, discoloration, and chipping on both sides of the neck next to the nut, which appears to be caused by the neck hanger. There is also discoloration of the binding on both the neck and body, and small, shallow dents and scratches in various places, including on the back of the body.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
