We now carry the popular new brand "Sfida"!
Based on the classic JM style, the SJM-500 features P90-type pickups and a roasted maple neck, making it a cost-effective model that combines functionality with a low price. The vintage-style tremolo bridge provides more comfortable arm movements and stable tuning than the standard JM model, and the heelless neck joint enhances playability in the upper registers.
The pickups are designed exclusively for the Sfida brand. They have wider coils and larger magnets than single-coil pickups, producing a thick, punchy sound.
Roasted maple is a material that is made by heat-treating maple wood at high temperatures to remove internal moisture and oils, resulting in a finish similar to that of wood that has been used for many years. This process makes the wood less likely to warp or twist, improving durability. It also improves the sound quality, resulting in greater clarity and clarity, and a richer, more sustained tone. Originally a technique found only in high-end instruments, in recent years it has been adopted in beginner-friendly price ranges, making its benefits easily accessible.
