Hachigen Kouta is a workshop that handles repairs for many music stores in the Amemura area of Osaka.
The basses produced in this workshop not only have the excellent playability that players desire, but also a realistic look that makes them seem as if they have been used for many years, and a rich sound that naturally matches that look, making them an appealing instrument. From the grip shape to the paint and final setup, each bass is handmade in the workshop, so each one is a high-quality instrument that is steadily individualized.
This latest arrival is a classic '60 JB style guitar with an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The neck grip is shaped for a comfortable grip, and the fingerboard radius is 7.25R, producing a rich overtone and a thick, sweet bass with a mellow low-mid range. The original pickups, which firmly connect the high-quality resonance of the neck to the sound, produce a rich overtone and a solid, firm tone that feels comfortable.
The tasteful lacquer aged finish and elaborate relic processing create a tasteful atmosphere, a feat that is sure to be the result of extensive repair experience. Our workshop's instruments, with their rich sound and excellent finish that will impress even vintage owners, are truly masterpieces that you can enjoy both in appearance and sound. You can also enjoy the changes that occur over time as the instrument ages with use.
The scratched areas have already been aged, so you can use it without worrying.
There is plenty of room in the truss rod and the neck is in good condition.
