The ANODIZED BROWN DISTORTION 4K achieves a wide, high gain range of +26dB to +60dB, while at the same time achieving a high dynamic range that is hard to believe for a distortion pedal. The dynamic range, especially at low gain settings, is comparable to that of a tube amp.
Even with the GAIN set high, you can instantly control even clean arpeggios with compression by using your picking attack and guitar volume.
Humbucking pickups give you a perfectly balanced, great distortion sound, while single coils give you that single coil distortion with plenty of low mids. Active pickups make it easy to control the distortion.
The ANODIZED BROWN DISTORTION 4K delivers the ultimate distortion when combined with a variety of amplifiers.
Its combination with a British stack is particularly exceptional, but when combined with an American classic amplifier or a clean transistor amplifier, it produces a solid, three-dimensional distortion that vibrates every single particle of tone.
Tight and thick low end. Natural saturation presence without any unnatural shrillness. Turning down the guitar volume reduces the high-frequency saturation and cleans it up. Solid yet organic sound. Long-lasting sustain with natural decay.
