Western music, guitars, and drums arrived in Japan in the 1920s, and Sakae Rhythm was founded by founder Eiichi Nakata in 1925, the same year radio broadcasting began in the country. Over 80 years have passed since then, and Sakae Rhythm has been dedicated to making musical instruments, overcoming numerous changes in the times and environment, and now it is releasing its original drums.
The parts used in the drums, as well as the essential shell construction, painting, and assembly, have all been rethought from a new perspective and are now handcrafted by skilled craftsmen. The logo is based on the letter S of SAKAE, and embodies the hope that musicians and the musical instrument industry will prosper and grow. This is a new drum made in Japan.
This phosphor bronze snare drum, highly regarded as a recording tool in a variety of settings, has been redesigned from a material perspective and molding method. The strainer butt is also adjustable. Its rich sound is reminiscent of a powerful instrument, providing a powerful presence no matter what instrument it's paired with.
This strainer was developed with the goal of providing smooth on/off operation, and is characterized by its natural operability and pleasant feel. The snap fastener (butt) has an angled fastening section to prevent the snap cord or belt from slipping. The butt is also adjustable.
A classic externally wound hoop that produces open, wide overtones and a soft attack.
