The Jazz Solist mouthpiece features a round chamber for the soprano model and a horseshoe-shaped chamber for the alto, tenor, and baritone models, resulting in a jazz mouthpiece characterized by a calm, classical-like sound. It produces a soft, warm tone and can handle a wide dynamic range.

In September 2024, the Jazz Solist was reborn after a complete overhaul. The hammered copper ring on the shank enhances the sense of unity with the instrument, resulting in a smoother playing feel. It can handle powerful playing while producing an even richer sound. Through meticulous improvements, it maximizes the performer's expressiveness, enabling free expression on stage. With a warm sound reminiscent of great jazz performances, it allows you to express any piece of music with rich emotion. It has evolved into a mouthpiece that will further enhance your performance.

Born from the passionate demand of those in the Japanese music industry and my own inquisitive spirit, the Solist mouthpiece revives the beautiful resonance of vintage mouthpieces for the modern era, designed to accommodate a wide range of musical genres. To commemorate our factory relocation in 2024, we've adopted a new hammered copper shank, enhancing the sense of unity with the instrument and further deepening the joy of playing. We've pursued a rich overtone and a solid, focused sound. Let it breathe new life into your playing and captivate your audience.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties

Import duties, taxes, and fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery or at pickup. Please check with your country’s customs office for details before purchasing.

Based on the regulations of the shipping company, aviation laws, and the laws and import regulations of the destination country, we cannot ship dangerous goods or restricted items internationally.
