Metal series 7-string model with tremolo bridge
The Metal Series guitars have been a huge hit with players since their release in 2017.
But musicians' needs are constantly evolving, and their instruments must evolve with them. One of the most requested features in recent years has been the return of the roasted maple neck. Paired with a chambered basswood body, EGS Rev7B tremolo with pop-in tremolo arm, and American-made Suhr pickups, the Boden Metal NX 7 Tremolo delivers all the features players have come to know and love, with the added rigidity and expressiveness of a tremolo bridge.
The wood and construction combination of a chambered basswood body and maple top expands on the recipe of historic guitars designed for heavy music, preserving a rich tone without sacrificing clarity or response, but enhancing it with lively response and complex overtones.
The black composite fingerboards featured on Metal Series guitars not only contribute to an attractive appearance, but also provide a smooth playing feel, stability, and exceptionally fast note tracking.
Each Metal Series guitar features a multi-scale configuration optimized for string count, string gauge, and range. Compared to traditional scale arrangements, multi-scale instruments maintain more consistent string tension and tone, improving playability and feel.
