FAQ

Descripción

Since its release in 1960, the Jazz Bass has been a staple of Fender's bass lineup alongside the Precision Bass, and continues to influence the music scene to this day. Numerous variations and reissues of the original, as well as models inspired by it by other companies, have been produced, establishing it as a solid standard for electric bass guitars.

This is a guitar that was shipped around 1971. While it's no longer as rare as it was in the 1960s, it's dressed in Olympic White, a custom color that was still popular at the time. The color choice alone speaks to the owner's attention to detail and the shop's discerning eye, giving it a rare aura.

【body】
The overall weight is a lightweight 3.8kg. The body is made of alder. It's dressed in a distinctive Olympic White color with a thick skin finish, typical of this time of year, and a clear base. There's some overall weather checking, paint chipping from finger placement between the pickups, paint chipping on the elbow contour, significant paint chipping from the belt buckle, two traces of a displaced strap pin, and tarnish on the metal parts, but it's in good condition, with a well-used vintage feel.
The traces of battle give it a depth that cannot be fully reproduced with modern relic processing. Metal covers are out of stock.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. While there is weather checking on the headstock, a few dents on the back of the neck, and some tarnish on the metal parts, the guitar remains in relatively good condition. The neck date, often associated with this period, is prone to fading, and this particular guitar appears to have faded as well. The tuners are slightly inconsistent in terms of tightness, but they function well. There is some wear on the neck near the high frets and low frets, but there is no excessive choking or choking, and playability is excellent. The headstock is 17.1mm thick and the nut width is 37.4mm. The neck profile is characterized by its narrow, yet sturdy, A-neck profile.

[Electrical system]
The controls are standard jazz bass wiring (2 volumes/1 tone). The internal control components are also in perfect condition. The unique blend of core and overtones from this period is comfortable, and the tone instantly leaps forward with a '70s-esque response. The front section is woody, thick, and clear, while the rear section offers a biting midrange and attack. Blending these two together reveals the classic jazz bass's three-dimensional range, making it versatile for slap, pick, or fingerpicking.
