The Triptychon is designed based on the concept of a triptych. This is a structure consisting of three parts, each existing independently, yet only gaining complete meaning when combined with the others. Based on this concept, the pedal is divided into three independent yet interconnected sections, each representing a fundamental element that constitutes the tone of an electric guitar. Designed to be self-contained yet interactive, these three "panels" form a unified sound system where the relationships between each stage are as important as the stages themselves.
In classic recordings of the past, fuzz and treble boosters were rarely used on their own. Instead, they were almost always connected to an already pushed amplifier, and the interaction between the pedal and the amp produced the compression, sustain, and rich harmonics that are now associated with vintage tones. The standard approach was to connect a treble booster to a driven amp, or to connect a fuzz to an already saturated signal path.
However, in modern setups, this interaction has changed significantly, as players often use clean amps and rely on pedals for gain. The Triptychon is designed to recreate that original signal chain, ensuring that classic tones are properly reproduced in modern setups.

At the same time, Triptychon does more than simply recreate the past. Each section operates independently, maintaining its own unique characteristics and functions, while also enabling combinations that were not practically possible with conventional configurations. This results in a flexible tone platform that allows you to freely switch between historically accurate signal chains and entirely new textures and gain structures within a single system.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
