A unique fuzz pedal from Chocolate Electronics has arrived in our used inventory!!
The Transistripper is a fuzz pedal with a completely new circuit design. The "fuzz" control is for gain, which is extremely high at its maximum setting, reaching approximately 5,000 times the original signal. The intensely saturated distortion sound is a new tone that differs from both the Fuzzface and Big Muff. The "insane" control is a distinctive feature that symbolizes this model, achieving a new kind of tonal change not found in existing effects pedals. As you turn the knob up, the distortion waveform changes, and from a certain position around 12 o'clock, the sustain and noise decrease, resulting in a unique gated, crackling sound, and the harmonic content also changes.
Normally, pedals with high amplification tend to have increased noise in the original signal, but this control reduces the noise to almost zero. You'll be amazed to find that "even with heavy distortion, the noise is quieter than when bypassed."
The case painting is done by hand, with each unit individually treated with a distressed finish that emphasizes a unique texture.
