Description

Rare Player's Condition Used Item!
Orville by Gibson is a now-defunct classic instrument that inherited the blood of the original Gibson family.
This rare pre-owned Orville by Gibson Firebird, popular with people of all ages and genders, is now in stock! It was manufactured in 1991 and features the iconic Vintage Burst colorway.

Orville was launched in the 1980s as a domestic line directly affiliated with Gibson.
It was produced from around 1988 to around 1998.
Although positioned as a lower-tier Gibson brand, it combines the high quality of Japanese-made guitars with the authenticity of a direct descendant of the original, and remains highly popular both domestically and internationally, even today, nearly 30 years after the brand was discontinued. Judging from the serial number, this latest arrival is a 1991 model made by Terada.
Although it is a popular model, it is a rare model that is not often available on the market.

The reverse-shaped body in vintage sunburst finish is made of three pieces of mahogany, and the catalog from that time seems to describe it as a '76 body shape. The catalog states that it is a reproduction except for the neck joint, suggesting that this model is based on the USA-made Firebird V of the time, including the stop tailpiece and electrical specifications. The joint is a set neck.

It has a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and is bound on the neck.
The neck shape is slim and not too thick. There are traces of glue on the position markers and some glue can be seen on the fingerboard, but it has been cleaned and does not affect current use. There are some dents on the back of the neck, but this does not affect playability. Only the 6th-string banjo pegs have been replaced with nickel parts. The others are chrome parts. The neck shape is slim and not too thick.

The controls are a classic two-volume/two-tone/three-way pickup selector. The Orville by Gibson features USA-made pickups with higher output than typical mini humbuckers. The front position offers a lustrous, uniquely supple sound, while the rear position offers a sparkling, speedy feel, creating a modern yet vintage sound.

This time, we have a rare player's condition pre-owned guitar in stock. It was made in 1991.
There is a buzzing sound when playing the open strings on the wound strings, mainly the 6th string, but it does not interfere with or cause any problems when playing through an amplifier. I don't think it will be a problem if you use it with distortion.
If you want to completely eliminate the buzzing, you will need to have the frets and nut replaced at a repair shop, which will require a fee.
The frets are low and have been formed. It is currently in usable condition. Approximately 20% of the frets remain. The nut has also been adjusted. It is currently in usable condition. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems.

Both the frets and nut are quite low, so future adjustments will require fret and nut replacement. The neck area of this product is not covered by the warranty.

There are also some small scratches, dents, heavy buckle scratches, pickguard scratches, dull paint, small scratches on the back of the neck, scratches on the headstock, and scratches and dullness on the pickup cover and other metal parts, but this guitar has a lot of character! Although there are many scratches, dents, and signs of use, it has been maintained and cleaned in our shop. A strap pin has been added near the joint.

We have also checked the electrical system and there are no problems with operation.

This is an irresistible piece with the classic Vintage Burst color!

The only accessory included is a general-purpose soft case.

Don't miss this opportunity!
