Anytime, anywhere. A new model has arrived in the Yamaha Silent Guitar series, designed to be a constant companion for guitarists!

The new Yamaha Silent Guitar

◆Realistic acoustic sound with a rich sense of atmosphere The electronics unit employs the "SRT (Studio Resonance Technology) Powered" system, which has been well-received and is also installed in the "SLG200S" and "SLG200N" models.
The "SRT Powered" system is a technology that applies acoustic processing to the signal from the piezo pickup, resulting in a high-quality acoustic sound that sounds as if it were recorded in a studio by a top-notch engineer.
With the SLG200NW, our classical guitar developers were also involved in the sound design, pursuing a sound that is more to the liking of classical guitarists.
Despite its unique design lacking a resonant body, it achieves a deep, rich acoustic sound that expresses not only the resonance of a classical guitar body but also the resonance of the performance space itself.
Furthermore, the sound from the "SRT Powered" system and the sound from the piezo pickup can be blended in your preferred ratio, allowing for a wider range of sound shaping tailored to the player's preferences.

◆Achieves a natural playing feel similar to a classical guitar. By adopting the same neck shape as a typical classical guitar, it achieves a natural playing feel that meets the demands of serious classical guitar players.
Furthermore, the use of an ebony fingerboard results in a tight and clear sound, while the gold base plates attached to the tuning pegs and the glossy finish create a high-grade, luxurious appearance.

The Silent Guitar boasts exceptional functionality. Its unique design, which lacks a resonant body, ensures high levels of quietness. Furthermore, by removing the left frame, it can be compactly stored in the included dedicated case, making it highly portable.
Therefore, you can easily take it with you when you go out, not just use it in your room, and enjoy playing it anytime, anywhere.
The preamp also features three built-in effects, including reverb, and a tuner. In addition, it has an AUX IN terminal for connecting to portable music players and a LINE OUT terminal for connecting to amplifiers and PA systems, making it a highly convenient device.
