Chordcat is a groovebox that helps producers and musicians generate new ideas and bring them to life smoothly. Chord Cruiser is a function that suggests a series of chords that connect musically smoothly from a single chord. Like freely cruising on the open sea, you can create chord progressions one after another from a vast array of chords with a sense of freedom.

Furthermore, it features an 8-track sequencer that allows you to record and play back multiple performances, sound presets with 145 instrument sounds and 16 drum sounds, and a song arrangement function, allowing you to create not only chords but also melodies and rhythms as you like.

Chordcat allows you to quickly play the chord progressions you envision anytime, anywhere, sparking new inspiration in music production and supporting a creative experience where ideas flow one after another.

■ Chord Cruiser mode: Suggests chord progressions one after another, sparking inspiration for music production.
Chordcat has 110,000*1 chord progression patterns built in. In Chord Cruiser mode, a proprietary algorithm suggests multiple chords from the database. You can listen to the suggested chords and choose the one that best suits your image, then assign the selected chord to the keyboard, and the next chord will be automatically suggested. Using this function, you'll have more opportunities to encounter unexpected chord progressions and easily create original songs that adhere to music theory. Furthermore, Chordcat comes equipped with 18 chord progression presets called Chordset. There are 13 presets created with various music genres such as House and Future Bass in mind, and 5 presets for basic chords such as major and minor. These presets can be used directly in music production, or they can be used as a starting point for generating ideas, from which you can further create your own unique chord progressions using Chord Cruiser mode.

Chordcat features three types of effects: arpeggiator, delay, and ducker, which can be intuitively controlled using the XY pad.
• Arpeggiator: Creates melodies from chords.
• Delay: Adds depth to the tone and adds dimension to the music.
• Ducker: Creates dynamics and adds emphasis to the entire song.

■ Running Direction Function
Chordcat features a running direction function that allows you to switch the playback direction of sequence patterns using a 4x4 step button with a single button press. You can choose from four playback directions: Right, Down, Clockwise, and Counterclockwise, which can generate unexpected phrases and rhythms, sparking new ideas. Using the running direction function further expands the possibilities of music production, allowing you to create new chord progressions and rhythms from different genres.

■ Inspiring Sound Presets and Tone Adjustment Functions for Perfect Sound Equipped with 145 sound presets and 16 drum kits usable across a wide range of genres, it will spark new inspiration when you switch between tones and drum kits. Furthermore, you can customize the sound presets to your liking using low-pass filters and amp envelopes. These parameters can be automated for each pattern, allowing for dynamic arrangements where the tone changes according to the song's progression. This enables the creation of dynamic phrases that cannot be achieved with static presets.

■Key/Scale setting function
By setting the Key and Scale, only the notes of the selected Key and Scale will be available on the keyboard. For example, if you set the Key to E and the Scale to Minor Blues, the notes of the Minor Blues Scale with E as the Key will be available. This makes it easy to enjoy improvisational playing with a jazz feel. In addition, the degree of match between the suggested chords in Chord Playing Mode and Chord Cruiser Mode and the set Key and Scale can be visually confirmed by the LED lights. This allows for intuitive and efficient music production for everyone from beginners to professionals.

Chordcat features an 8-track/16-pattern/128-step (8-bar) workspace, enabling intuitive and flexible music creation.
• 8 Tracks: You can set drums, bass, synth, etc. to separate tracks, allowing you to play up to 8 different instruments or sounds simultaneously. You can also adjust the volume of each track and the left/right volume balance with panning.
• 16 Patterns: You can create and save 16 different phrases for each track, allowing you to freely construct the structure of your music. You can also use the pattern chain function to play patterns continuously in a specified order.
• 128 steps (8 measures): Each pattern consists of 16 steps (1 measure) x 8 pages, allowing you to determine the timing of sound placement and create sequences.

It features MIDI OUT/THRU terminals, MIDI IN terminals, and a USB Type-C terminal. Therefore, you can use Chordcat's Chord Play Mode and Chord Cruiser Mode to play external synthesizers or DAW software on your PC/Mac.
