FAQ

Description

A used 1960 Telecaster has arrived, featuring a rare two-tone sunburst finish for a 60s model and stunning heavy relic treatment!

This particular instrument is a 1960 Telecaster Heavy Relic with an alder body and slab rosewood fingerboard, and its 2-Color Sunburst finish is a rare and attractive feature.

The Fender Custom Shop is a section established in 1987 to create the highest quality guitars under the Fender brand, using carefully selected materials from the wood sourced by Fender, and employing traditional handcrafting techniques and advanced manufacturing methods.

This section inherits the tradition and technology of Fender, a company with a long history, and its lineup, including models like the Masterbuilder Series, which are one-of-a-kind in the world, and other custom shop instruments assembled by a limited number of staff, is truly top-of-the-line.

Many of the tools used in their production are the same ones that were used back then. The instruments, created with the meticulous attention to detail of staff who are intimately familiar with Fender guitar know-how, boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy the player, and will become a reliable companion that you can cherish for a lifetime.

All pickups are hand-wound, and compared to conventional machine-wound pickups, they produce a richer harmonic tone and a more acoustic feel when outputting from the amplifier.

The Telecaster's simple controls include features such as a high-pass capacitor for the volume pot and a genuine Fender wax paper capacitor (0.05μF) for the tone capacitor, making it a desirable instrument for those who want to fine-tune their sound with their hands.

This individual is relatively lightweight at approximately 3.29kg, so please consider it at this opportunity.

*Regarding the condition, there are no noticeable dents or damage to the frets, and approximately 80% or more remains. The truss rod also has plenty of adjustment range.
The electrical system is in good condition, and although it's difficult to judge due to the relic finish, it appears to be a relatively well-maintained unit with minimal damage or signs of wear that likely occurred after leaving the factory.

*Please refer to the photos for any particularly noticeable large scratches or damage.
