FAQ

Description

The Fender Precision Bass, the company's first solid-body electric bass guitar, was born and released in 1951. Following the success of the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass was released later, and both continue to influence the music scene today.

In 1981, Fender introduced a range of colors for its main models, including Cathay Ebony, Moroccan Red, Monaco Yellow, Sahara Taupe, Maui Blue, Capri Orange, and Arctic White. These colors were known as the "International Color Series" and became extremely popular among fans of limited edition items.

This time, we have a very rare Monaco Yellow color in stock, in player's condition.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 4.65 kg. The body is made of ash. It is clad in the vibrant international color "Monaco Yellow". The finish used during this period was "Fender Thick-Skin High-Gloss," which uses polyester as a base coat, but there are some distinctive paint chips and deterioration on the top surface. Other parts show tarnishing and signs of use, giving it the feel of a vintage instrument. The finger rest has been replaced.

【neck】
The neck and fingerboard are made of one-piece maple. There is some paint peeling around the headstock and on the sides of the fingerboard, and slight tarnishing on the metal parts, but it can be said to be in relatively good condition. The tuners function well with little variation in winding. The frets and nut have been replaced, and playability is good. The fingerboard surface has been repainted following the refretting. Headstock thickness: 15.0mm. Nut width: 41.7mm. It features a standard, comfortable width and a sturdy shape, similar to a B-neck.

[Electrical System]
The controls are the standard Precision Bass wiring (master volume/master tone). The pickups are currently Seymour Duncan SPB-2s, aiming for a powerful sound. Additionally, the output jack has been replaced.

With a well-defined and vibrant tone that complements the instrument's resonance, and a solid, characteristic Precision Bass sound, this guitar is appealing. It's easy to use whether you play with a pick or your fingers, and it's a charming instrument that combines both looks and sound.
