MAYONES Jabba Custom Buckeye Burl Top 5-string model!

Since its founding in 1982, MAYONES (also pronounced Mayones or Mayones) has gained popularity mainly in Europe and the United States with its unique lineup and reliable quality. Its user list includes a stellar array of top players such as Nathan East, Hadrien Feraud, Jimmy Haslip, Yolanda Charles, Pawel Maciwoda (The Scorpions), and Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), and the manufacturer operates in Poland with a small, highly skilled team.

The Jabba model in Mayones' lineup is a refined version of the JB, featuring a 24-fret design and sound. This particular model boasts a magnificent buckeye burl top, a swamp ash body, a slightly longer 34.25-inch 1-piece maple neck (compared to typical JB models), a pau ferro fingerboard, block position markers, neck binding, a matching headstock made of the same buckeye burl as the body, Noradstrand pickups, and an original M-BP3 preamp, making it a custom 5-string model.

The sound features a pleasantly compressed, slightly lower midrange, and combined with the pickup's characteristics, it delivers a clear and solid bass response. It faithfully outputs a sound range that suits your picking style, allowing for flexible sound shaping by controlling the tone and original 3-band EQ, whether you're using your fingers, a pick, or slap bass. It boasts powerful bass, rich mid-low frequencies, and a well-defined, clear tone, giving it a refined, yet classic JB-like feel. It's a versatile instrument that suits both classical and loud styles.

It has a stable, straightforward, deep, tight, and calm tone that is impressive. It has the cohesiveness and crispness characteristic of a JB, while also featuring the rich midrange typical of a Mayones, and the mid-to-low frequencies are clearly present. In a good way, it feels like a straightforward tone with little harshness, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles and musical genres.

There are some minor scratches and light dents, but it is in relatively good condition.
The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and the neck is in good condition.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
