A used Eric Clapton Blackie Stratocaster has arrived!

This Eric Clapton signature model has been in continuous production since its introduction in 1988. The most distinctive features of this instrument are the three Gold Lace Sensor Pickups, which remain highly popular, and its active design with TBX Tone Control / Mid Boost. The noiseless yet solid sound can handle a wide range of tones from clean to overdrive, truly embodying the Clapton tone. The body is made of alder, and the neck is a V-shaped 1P maple neck. The configuration strongly reflects the specifications of a 1957 Stratocaster, achieving both a classic look and playability befitting the name "Blackie". In addition, this particular instrument has had its pickguard replaced with an anodized pickguard, resulting in a sharp look that is slightly different from the original. The headstock has a Clapton signature decal, Kluson-type tuners, a micro-tilt mechanism on the neck plate, and although the bridge is set flush, it does not have a wood block, allowing for tremolo arm use.


This particular guitar has undergone some modifications, including the addition of a pickguard screw hole for mounting a pickguard, and the end pin has been replaced with a Schaller locking pin (the strap side part is missing). There is some peeling and staining on the fretboard, as well as scuffs, scratches, slight discoloration, scratches, and dents on the body and neck, reflecting its age and being in player's condition. The frets retain approximately 70% of their height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck condition, truss rod, and electronics, making it a guitar you can still enjoy playing. We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
