The concept of j.custom is very simple.
"Using carefully selected materials and assembled by some of Japan's most skilled craftsmen, these guitars consistently pursue high playability and superior sound." This philosophy has remained unchanged since the guitar's inception and continues to this day.
Based on this concept, the j.custom is Ibanez's top-of-the-line electric guitar, handcrafted in a domestic workshop to meet the diverse styles, preferences, and demands of guitarists at the highest level.


■RG j.custom Super Wizard 5pc Maple/Wenge This neck is constructed from five pieces of maple and wenge wood, with careful consideration given to neck strength while aiming for a natural sound.
Featuring an ultra-thin Super Wizard shape, this guitar is ideal for players who prefer an extremely light grip, prioritizing playability and thinness.
The neck back features a Velvetouch finish that feels incredibly comfortable in your hand, just like a guitar that's been played for years.

■Rosewood Fretboard: The rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced, solid tone with prominent midrange frequencies.

■j.custom fret edge treatment
This is a custom treatment that rounds the edges to create a spherical shape.
Shaping them into a sphere, as well as ensuring consistent shapes, requires skill, and this process, which can only be performed by highly skilled craftsmen, is carried out meticulously by hand, one piece at a time.
You'll definitely notice the smooth, stress-free feeling when you make large changes to the position of your left hand.

■Flame Maple (4mm) Top & African Mahogany Body: The African mahogany body, which has rich mid-low frequency characteristics, is laminated with AAA-grade flame maple with beautiful grain.

■DiMarzio Pickups: The neck position features the Air Norton, known for its clear and warm sound; the middle position features the True Velvet, known for its bright and noiseless sound; and the bridge position features The Tone Zone, which delivers a powerful sound with a well-balanced output from high to low frequencies.

■Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge: Equipped with the Lo-Pro Edge, an original tremolo that has perfected low-profile design. By designing the unit to be as low as possible and positioning the fine tuners at the rear, the possibility of accidentally hitting it with your hand and throwing the tuning out of whack while playing is minimized.

■Gotoh machine heads
GOTOH machine heads are highly regarded by guitarists worldwide for their smooth operation, reliability, and durability.

■Tilted Jack Cavity
Unlike typical side-jack guitars, the woodworking around the jack where the shield cable plug is inserted is carved outwards from the strap pin direction towards the inside of the body. This is a design feature that allows the cable to be secured to the strap and prevents it from accidentally coming loose.

■Switchcraft Jack
It uses Switchcraft pipe jacks, which are renowned for their robust construction and minimal problems.

■GOTOH Strap Lock
It is equipped with a GOTOH strap lock that can be attached and detached with a single touch.

■Easy Access Control Knobs
To minimize interference with your hand when using the tremolo arm, the control knobs are recessed into the top of the body, at a height that is just low enough to be easily turned without being difficult to access.

■Luminlay Luminous Fretboard Side Dot Position Markers

We've just received a recommended player's condition used item! It's a 2025 model.
There are various minor scratches and dents throughout the guitar, including pick scratches on the body, a large dent on the upper back of the body where the wood is visible, peeling and tarnishing of the plating on the bridge and knobs, general darkening on the sides of the neck, scratches on the side of the headstock, scratches on the back panel, and tarnishing on the parts. However, these do not affect playability. We have performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately.

The frets have been leveled and it's ready to use. Approximately 80% of the fret life remains.
The truss rod also functions normally and there are no issues with adjustment.

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.

The weight is approximately 4.02 kg. It has a balanced design that produces a solid, focused sound.
This guitar boasts a beautiful wood grain, and the Red Spinel color really stands out!

Accessories include the original hard case, key, certificate of authenticity, and multi-tool kit. The key is a combination key.
