Description

Recommended used item! Lightweight model weighing approximately 3.78 kg!
For many, this is the quintessential Les Paul Custom! We've just received a recommended used Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Custom with an all-mahogany body! This 2014 model boasts a stylish Ebony finish!

The Les Paul Custom: the guitar of choice for real men!
Standard just won't do! You can't get anywhere without a custom! The Les Paul Custom is a model so beloved that you can hear such passionate voices from custom guitar fans!

The legendary 1957 Les Paul Custom, with its striking looks, continues to captivate countless guitarists. It's now becoming increasingly rare on the market. This time, we have a recommended used Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Custom in stock! It's a 2014 model.

Many people would probably say this is the quintessential Les Paul Custom: the 1957 Les Paul Custom with its all-mahogany body.
Compared to the typical Les Paul specifications of a maple top and mahogany back, it has less attack, but thanks to the one-piece mahogany construction, it offers a tight, cohesive sound with a rich, clear, deep midrange and a deep resonance that you can truly enjoy!
The 2014 model features a VOS tint coat that replicates the color fading of the top coat, resulting in a finish that recreates the look and feel of years of aging and discoloration. It also incorporates features adopted since 2013, such as custom backers, long studs, tubeless truss rods, and hide glue.

The ebony fingerboard, now a rare material and trading at extremely high prices, is glued on this 2014 model using hide glue.
You can enjoy the resonant sound of this highly rigid neck! And the now rare ebony fingerboard produces a sharper and tighter sound than a standard LP, creating a masculine tone that cuts through without becoming too muddy even when the gain is turned up, typical of HM/HR! It's also popular with those who like to distort their sound with a hard edge!

The use of Kluson VX-501 waffle-back tuners further enhances the vintage feel, making this a culmination of the Historic Collection!

Nowadays, the jet-black ebony Les Paul Custom is strongly associated with female rock musicians, thanks to the "Bocchi the Rock!" phenomenon. However, in the Showa era, the 3-pickup Les Paul Custom used in the early days by legendary guitarists like Keith Richards and Jimmy Page, and the 2-pickup version, were considered sacred instruments of rock music used by the hardcore mentai rock musicians!
Led by Mr. Makoto Ayukawa, who could be called Mr. Les Paul Custom, along with other formidable players such as Hiroyuki Chigi of THE MODS and Nobuo Tani of TH eROCKERS, the guitar they played with great force was an ebony-colored Les Paul Custom!

However, as the era changed from Heisei to Reiwa, it's deeply moving to see how the black Les Paul Custom has come to be used by so many different people.

We've just received a recommended used item! It's a 2014 model.
While there are some minor scratches, a few dents, paint tarnishing, pick scratches on the pickguard, uneven paint on the back of the neck, and tarnishing on the gold hardware, the overall condition is fairly good. None of these affect playability.
This watch has undergone full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, making it a highly recommended item that you can use immediately.

There are some cracks in the paint on the binding and wood parts of the neck on the 6th and 1st string sides due to wood shrinkage over time, but this does not affect playability. This is a common occurrence in older Gibson guitars, although the degree may vary.

The frets have been leveled and the guitar is ready to use. Approximately 80% of the fret life remains. The nut is also in good working order. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems.

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.
The weight is approximately 3.78 kg. It's relatively lightweight for a Les Paul Custom, offering a well-balanced and easy-to-use guitar.

The only included accessory is the original brown hard case. The certificate of authenticity, keys, and all other accessories are missing.

Don't miss this opportunity!
